Job Description:

The Residential Youth Support Worker position entails supporting a young woman with diverse abilities, in the comfort of her own home. She enjoys activities such as hiking and going to the mall. The resident you would be working with is looking for someone who is energetic and loves being outside and active. The successful candidate will be taking this individual out on community based activities, assisting in planning their social events, as well as assisting her in her home (this includes cooking, cleaning, homework etc).

What you bring to the job:

You have experience working with youth in care, a class 5 driver's license and your own reliable vehicle, current First Aid training, and a clean driving and criminal record. You are willing to learn about and implement Trauma Informed Support behavioural plans, Positive Behaviour Supports, and MANDT. You must also possess the ability to connect and communicate with the individuals we serve in a respectful way, and be supportive of the needs of the individuals.
