At CVS we take our work seriously. On a daily basis, we work to create the conditions that make for a better quality of life for the people we support. We need staff and caregivers who are creative, values-based, and respectful. In return, we create a flexible and fun environment so that our employees can thrive and have the freedom to help change people's lives. As an employer, we strive to be responsive, respectful and open.
If you are an employee of CVS as a Community Support Worker then the wage starts at $17.71 at the first step, with 4 steps in the wage grid. Up until 2019 there are also wage and mileage increases. We also offer our employees counselling, a computer purchase program, and access to corporate cell phone rates.

Truthfully, people don't come to CVS for the money - and we know that the School Boards pay more. We think we offer employees a positive work experience that makes up for the difference. If you do the math, a full time worker gets more at the school board per hour but over the course of a year it is about the same. As important, we know that people want to make a difference and CVS is able to offer an environment where you have the whole community as a place to connect people and help them to be the best they can be.
We have opportunities for advancement and we offer training to staff to help you develop your skills over time. More than that, we have fun. Additionally, we recognize our staff for their achievements and we celebrate successes.
So, if you think you want to be part of a progressive and thoughtful organization that employs skilled and fun people then get in touch or view our current job postings below:
