Truthfully, people don't come to CVS for the money - and we know that the School Boards pay more. We think we offer employees a positive work experience that makes up for the difference. If you do the math, a full time worker gets more at the school board per hour but over the course of a year it is about the same. As important, we know that people want to make a difference and CVS is able to offer an environment where you have the whole community as a place to connect people and help them to be the best they can be.
We have opportunities for advancement and we offer training to staff to help you develop your skills over time. More than that, we have fun. Additionally, we recognize our staff for their achievements and we celebrate successes on a regular basis.
Community Ventures Society (CVS) respects and appreciates our community’s different cultures, backgrounds, orientations and abilities. At CVS, we are committed to fostering and supporting teams of people that reflect this diversity.
Our work culture values and honours differences; promotes dignity, equality and diversity; and encourages people to develop and maximize their true potential. Community Ventures Society welcomes and encourages applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin or disability.
We provide reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the selection process and throughout your career. We focus on ability and we work with candidates to find innovative solutions and support for people of various backgrounds and needs.
