If you are an employee of CVS as a Community Support Worker then the wage starts at $16.81 at the first step. There are 4 steps in the wage grid that tops out at $19.81. Up until 2019 there are also wage and mileage increases. We also offer our employees counselling, a computer purchase program, and access to corporate cell phone rates.
At the same time we know that people don't come to CVS for the money - and we know that the School Boards pay more. We think we offer employees a positive work experience that makes up for the difference. If you do the math a full time worker gets more at the school board per hour but over the course of a year it is about the same.
