We want to take this opportunity to welcome Jeevan Rai, who joined Community Ventures Society as the Manager of Human Resources on June 2nd, 2025.
Jeevan has over 8 years of experience in both the legal field and human resources, with a background that spans government and non-profit work. She previously worked as a Deputy District Registrar at the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and later supported HR operations in community-focused organizations, including the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia.
Jeevan holds a Human Resource Management Certificate from BCIT and is currently working toward her CPHR designation. At CVS, she supports a wide range of HR functions—from recruitment and employee onboarding to wellness initiatives and policy updates.
Jeevan brings a team-first approach to everything she does. With over 15 years of experience playing competitive sports, she values collaboration, strong communication, and creating an environment where people feel supported and empowered. She believes in being approachable, honest, and always willing to help guide others through challenges.
She’s also passionate about giving back and looks for opportunities to support her community through fundraising and local initiatives.
