Board of Directors
The Community Ventures Society Board of Directors is a deeply committed group of community leaders parents, educators, business professionals and advocates who bring a powerful blend of experience, compassion and skill to guiding CVS’s mission and vision.
This inspiring group generously volunteers their time to offer governance, strategic direction and thoughtful stewardship of the organization’s values and goals. They champion a community where people with developmental disabilities are welcomed, supported and celebrated for their unique strengths and contributions.
Our board members bring lived experience and professional expertise that enrich CVS from many angles from inclusive education and legal and financial leadership to hands-on community, family and workplace knowledge. Their advocacy helps shape a future full of opportunity for the people we serve and their families. Many are parents of adults who participate in CVS programs, and their insight ensures that decision-making is grounded in real community-based experience.
Collectively, they provide thoughtful governance and partnership with staff and community stakeholders to strengthen programs, uphold organizational integrity and advance inclusion in everyday life. Their dedication supports CVS’s strong foundation of integrity, respect and collaboration as the society continues to grow and expand its impact across the Tri-Cities and Lower Mainland.
We are grateful for the leadership, passion and unwavering support of our board they are true champions for inclusion and a valued part of the CVS family.
