Community Ventures Society (CVS) works with adults and children with developmental disabilities to setup a home for them to thrive. The Homes Program at CVS seeks to provide specialized resources to meet all the needs of the people we support.
We believe that children belong with their own families whenever possible, surrounded by the people who know and love them best. When a child’s needs become too complex for a family to manage on their own, we step in with care, compassion, and specialized support.
Our homes are created to feel safe, nurturing, and as close to family life as possible. We support children with medical or behavioural needs by providing consistent, skilled care while building strong, caring relationships. Our goal is always to create a sense of belonging, stability, and connection for every child we serve.
Homes for Children
Our Homes for Adults program provides more than just housing, it offers a place to belong. We support people to live comfortably and confidently in their communities, with care that is tailored to their individual needs and goals.
Each home is a shared living environment where individuals can build independence while knowing support is always there when needed. During the day, many residents take part in community inclusion programs, activities, or work opportunities that reflect their interests.
Our staff provide thoughtful, respectful support throughout the day and evening, creating a balance of independence, connection, and care that helps each person feel at home.
