Community Ventures Society (CVS) works with adults and children with developmental disabilities to setup a home for them to thrive. The Homes Program at CVS seeks to provide specialized resources to meet all the needs of the people we support.
Homes for Children
We believe that children should be placed in a family home. However, when the needs of the child are too great for a family to sustain, we provide specialized resources to meet the medical or behavioural needs of the children we serve.
For more information please contact Adrienne Mohr, Manager of the Homes Program, at 604.939.8070 ext. 2029 or 778.999.3667. You can also email Adrienne at [email protected].
Homes for Adults
Our adults Homes Program provide housing and support to people who live in the community. Residents participate in various activities or community inclusion programs outside the home during the weekdays.
Staff support is provided during the daytime and evenings according to the needs of each resident.
Room-mate model living allow for further independence while ensuring that support needs are met.
